MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Presented by Scotts

The City of Parma Heights Recreation Department sponsors a MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Presented by Scotts competition each spring. Each year numerous Parma Heights participants advance to the sectional round of competition. Sectional winners who win their  age group and are in the top three amongst all sectional winners in the Cleveland Indians market are eligible to compete at Progressive Field in early June.

This year's MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Presented by Scotts competition will take place on Friday, May 6 from 5-8 p.m. at Kurtz Park, Kuhn & McMillen Fields (Fields with lights).

The competition is open to boys and girls ages 7-14 and is FREE. Contestants pitch at a target, hit for distance and accuracy and run from second base to home plate for a time.

For more information about the Parma Heights Pitch, Hit & Run competition please contact the recreation department at 440-884-9600 ext. 13.
